Press release of the statement regarding the updated NECP

On 12 July 2023, the OPC published its opinion on the draft update of the integrated National Energy and Climate Plan for the period 2021-2030 (NECP or PNEC in French) that Luxembourg must send to the European Commission in accordance with Article 14 of Regulation (EU) 2018/1999 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the Governance of the Energy Union and Climate Action. This opinion contains a series of general remarks and concrete proposals for some of the measures proposed in the update of the NECP.
